Following list was developed by Agnes Ryu for her clients who are going through fertility treatment, prenatal prep, ladies who are going through hormonal transition, menopause, and those who are going through cancer treatment.
Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)
A game changer – for management of insulin resistance, diabetes, kidney disease – no guess work
Prenatal vitamins
B Vitamins
Vitamin D3 with K2
Magnesium
Recommended form is Magnesium malate, citrate, taurate, glycinate and chloride
Cheap magnesium supplements from high street are magnesium oxide which should be avoided
Magnesium - external application
Bath Salt – Epsom Salt (Magnesium sulfate) or Magnesium Chloride
Body spray, gel or lotion – for relieving aches/pain, muscle spasm, improving cellular energy
Omega 3 EPA & DHA
Omega oil should be pure, fresh and safe. Polyunsatruated fatty acid (PUFA) Omega oils are structurally unstable and fragile. PUFA get damaged easily and go rancid readily by heat, oxygen and light. Omega oil should be raw, cold extracted in dark, vaccum environment. 3rd party lab test should be carried out for each batch to warrant purity and free from heavy metals and pollutants such as PCBs.
Mitochondrial Support
L Carnitine, Acetyl L Carnitine, CoEnzyme Q10, D Ribose
Microbiome Support
Low Carb, Keto, Carnivore cookbooks
Digestive Support
Iodine
Organ supplements
Bone Broth, Collagen & Gelatin
Grass-fed, pesticide-free
Immune regulation
Clean water
The filter should lower Fluoride and chlorine and other nasty chemicals.
Distillation removes impurities effectively. Distiller should be plastic-free, heavy metal (nickel)- free and ideally 100% stainless still and glass. Distilled water should be remineralized before drinking.
Condiments, cooking ingredients
Salt – Unrefined sea salt rich in minerals, electrolytes
Soy sauce alternative
Vinegar – Organic, unpastuerizsed, raw vinegar with mother (probiotic strains)
Cooking oil should be saturated fat
Organic raw honey, royal jelly, propolis
Personal Care products
Assume anything put on the skin is absorbed into the blood stream.
Personal care products and cosmetics are the major source of repeated exposure to various chemical toxins. These are found in fat layer, such as breasts, brain, breast milk and umbilical cord.
Mineral oils work like vinyl cover on top of the skin and do not have any affinity with human cells. Plant oils go rancid readily on when exposed to the sunlight and oxygen. They are not only unsuitable for consumption, unsuitable for skin application. High level of solvents are often detected.
Aloe Verga gel should be organic, chemical free, thickener and acrylamide free.
It is good as a moisturiser for scalp and hair, a soothing sun lotion, suitable as a non-toxic lubricant.
Use a mild, non-toxic, baby safe, non-stripping, low foaming body cleanser
Ideally pH should be around 5.5 to protect the membrane – most of the soap, cleasing products are way too alkaline and disrupts normal skin microbiome and membrane integrity. Following products are suitable for face, body and hair (replacing shampoo)
Oral Care
Toothpaste – Organic, fluoride-free, SLS-free, paraben-free, triclosan-free, nano particle free
As a safe and effective mouthwash, I recommend Coconut Oil pulling (coconut oil + clove oil, peppermint or spearmint oil)
Mouthwash shouldn’t contain alcohol or other microbiome killing harsh chemicals, detergents and preservatives.
